200,200A ice cleats

Post by snocatpete » Sun Aug 26, 2018 9:26 pm

My question is: on a 200/200A track how was the ice cleat ORIGINALLY attached to the wood cleat and belting? Did they use rivets or machine bolts/nuts ? In the illustrated parts catalogue it doesn't show this very well. On page 2 and 3 item # 3 , part # H905 rivet it says 108 required? this doesn't seem to add up for the actual amount needed for a set of tracks nor does it mention anything about machine bolts for the ice cleats ( or maybe I'm missing something !? )
Any thoughts or explanation would be greatly appreciated!
thanks Pete
