crankcase seals

Post by randys444 » Thu Jul 14, 2016 10:20 pm

I have to install new crankcase seals in my JLO 252. They are both Goetze seals,#30-42-7/8 and#25-42-10. I believe the numbers in the manual are HE-4006 and HE-4007. Would anyone have any current numbers for referencing. Thanks. Randy.

Yes, those are Hus ski part numbers. The HE-4006 is the pto side and the HE-4007 is the mag side. The JLO number for the pto side is 25x42x10/11 DIN 6504. For the mag side JLO number 30x42x7/8 DIN 6503. The seals I use are 30x42x7 DL for the mag side. For the pto side I use 25x42x10 DL
You should also be able to get these from your local auto parts store. Hopefully this helps you out too.

I found both the seals I needed and also ordered the 8 bearings for the axle assemblys and jackshaft. The info on the forum has been very useful. Thankyou.
