62-63 Hus ski

Dose any one know if the 1962-63 snow traveler (Hus ski) uses a trailer ball to hook up the set unit, and if so ,dose the ball go through the flood under the gas tank or where. Thank for the site....Tony

The snow traveller is the only model with the ball joint attached to the sled pole. The post has a hole so a safety pin can be put in it however this is a next to impossible task. I have heard of machines which had a wire retaining attachment to prevent the pole from rising.

Thanks again for the information. Some one put a trailer ball in the hole and a hitch on my setter. Maybe I will see one pin hook up some day, but for now I will try the ball hook up. Want to drive it in the perade this year in February,hope to restore it by then. Tony
