My wierd Hus Ski

Post by BillNH » Wed Mar 04, 2015 5:11 pm

I picked up a Hus ski yesterday. It started life as a 444. It has a Hirth motor sitting straight up thru the hood. It has a Boa Ski driven clutch on the left side, and a hand made hood, all square corners and heavy gage sheet metal, held together with sheet metal screws.
I haven't decided whether or not I will attempt to return it to the fold, or just play around with it as is. If I pick up another Hus ski, I can use this for part, as the basic chassis is in good shape. The seater is home made and kinda funny looking, with no storage bin under the seat.

If the base is complete, i would be interested in the base....that is if you are not going to keep it. Searching for a 444 base.
