hus-ski 200 issue

Hi everyone,

Just wondered if anyone had any ideas why my hus-ski starts, idles and sounds fine, but after 10 minutes of so, just dies right out as if there is no gas. Almost like it gets good and warm and fails. Starts after it sits awhile. I rebuilt the carb, cleaned out ports, new gas filter, do I have the adjustments wrong? pumps fine,

thanks

Murray

I had a snowblower that had the same problem... The problem was the coil. it was starting really good and then, after maybe 5 minutes it was dying, like your hus-ski. some times those old coils stop working when they get heated by the engine. Check if you still have spark, and if not, i think you will have to change the coil.

Yes, the one that you need has 30mm threads, 1.5mm thread pitch, right hand male threads, here is a link to one that is the correct size. I have never ordered from this place, I just did a google search for: flywheel puller 30mmx1.5 and this is one that came up. Be careful when searching for one, some have female threads and sometimes there may be a left hand thread one available too. Hope this helps.
