Just got my 444 done, well still have to install the light. Thanks for the information, and inspriration.
We had comedian Bucky Lewis do a fund raiser for our local snowmobile club, he did a great job. He couldnt resist the Hus-ski. Look him up,www.buckylewis.com

This method of supporting was spawned by the muffler support on the 200-A. You will need to find a pair of stand-off bolts to secure onto the head bolts and two more 3/4" long bolts to secure the muffler. In the photo you can see a nut used as a spacer . This was because the stand-off bolts were not long enough. They should come above the head of the cylinder. I used to have broken mufflers on my 400 until I used this system about 8 years ago. I have not repaired a muffler since then. This system is also on my 444 for 3 years and a 1000 kms.

Beautiful job on the Hus-Ski Ray ! Thankyou for posting , and thankyou Barrie for showing me the better way to mount the muffler !
