yes, the second year model 200 had stainless steel skins on the slides.this was a one year feature which was eliminated. on the snow traveller, the slides had a teflon base held in place with stainless steel.
Re: hus ski track
Barrie, the track is easy to move not tight .I slid it over by pushing on track. Spacing between cogs then evened up pushed it over from both ends. Bear with me I is just a Finnish Genius others idiot. LOL Ken U serial # of Hus ski is 20928

In the deep snow we just got it is running fine, Grandson Jon is on it now. Nice to see it going good. Ken Still needs loving care!
Re: hus ski track
It is about time I get started on this. Ordered new track and cleats . I just read over my earlier posts etc. Slides ? Slides I didn't order, I haven't even looked at machine for them. I'm not only getting older but the brain isn't working as well either. This post was started by me quite a while ago. Hoot619 or Hoot's619 I had to reregister
Re: hus ski track
So how tight should the track be? I just rebuilt mine and they seem fairly tight but it still wants to slap the tunnel, how much deflection should the top half of the track have?
