Hi to all!My name is Sean and i have just bought my first Diablo Rouge model 500.She is a real tough unit but I 'am very excited to get started on it.It will need a complete restore and many parts.I will be picking it up on Friday so no sleep this week.I live in eastern Ontario were we have a very strong vintage movement for snowmobiles so i was looking for something out of the norm.So thanks for such a great site i will be on alot asking all the dumb new guy questions and looking for parts.I dont know how i did i bought the machine for $150.00 Chassis, hood, seat with skies and motor with clutch and carbs boogies,no gear box and no tracks or handle bars, like i said it is one tough unit a few bullet holes to deal with but i do have time.I do have pics just trying to figure out how to post.

I wonder if it was being driven when the bullet holes became a detail. Perhaps a police chase after a bank robbery???? This machine may have a great history.

The owner tells me that the hood was flown in from northern Ontario.I'am sure a few beer and hunting trip were part of the story.I hope i can be rebuilt I'am always saying "there's nothing that can't be fixed" I just can't wait!

I'm in Ottawa. I have a decent hood looking for a home. If it will help you out, just give me a shout.

Sean ...You can have the hood. I've been tripping over it for to long. I have some other 500 parts I think you can use. I'll send you my phone numbers on private message. Give me a call to-morrow.
