Diablo Dashes

Post by Go Go Diablo » Fri Oct 08, 2010 7:39 pm

Hi all,

I'm checking on molding costs to reproduce dashes for Diablos. When I checked on this opportunity last year, the mold costs alone were over several thousand dollars. Obviously the investment is significant and not easily justified. If we move forward, new dashes would be between $120 & $150.

If you are considering buying a new dash, please shoot me an email at bruce@gogodiablo.com. If we get enough interested parties, there is more of a chance we will make the investment.

Thanks for supporting your Hus Ski / Diablo website!

Hi Bruce,

If you ever go ahead with the dashes, I'd take one.

Thanks,
Jeff

I'm making the first investment which is to get them measured up and cast. There are several techniques for this per the molder and we are working on pricing for this phase. No guarantee yet, but one step closer.

What I hear so far is a want for four to five Diablo 500 dashes. That is a good start for that dash.

Remember, the 500 dashes are different than the 502/3 dash. So if you email me or post here, be sure to specify which you would be interested in.

Thanks all,

Bruce

Hi all,

Just a quick note out to let everyone know we are moving forward with the mold creation process for the 500 dash. With any luck, a new Diablo 500 dash should be available in 6 to 8 weeks and they will cost $145 each.

If you want to get your name on one, let me know as I'm putting together a list.

Thanks all for supporting the site and the restoration processes.

A good heavy coat of paint should do it.
