Hi all

Can somebody tell me if we can get some insurance for our Diablo's and Hus-ski in Canada. I tried with my insurance company and everybody tell me no. I've tried alot of places but it's the same answer from everybody. They said because it's to dangerous because it's in 2 parts.

Tks

What do you want insurance for? Personal liability? Fire? Theft?

Barrie,

Rock told me this past weekend that insurance is required in Ontario (not sure if it applied to all of Canada) to drive any sled off your private property. I'm sure he can explain better, but I thought is was for injury and liability.

Is that the same in Quebec?

Hi guys
I need insurance for personal liability. they won't let us go anywhere with out insurance. Won't be able to go on trails or across my place nothing . Not sure if it's like that in Quebec but here in Ontario we need insurance. I think it 's going to be a long winter staying in the yard with my ski-doo's.

Hi Guys,

Here in Manitoba, when you register your sled you also get a basic $200,000.00 liability. Fire, theft, collision, etc is extra. Now remember we have Public Insurance here not private for vehicles and orv's.

Hi Mike

I wen't to about 5 different compagny with some pictures of the sled. As soon as they see the machine they call their head office and they say no. It's going to be very hard to put insurance on the Diablo or Hus-ski.

Hi Lucky

I had a insurance broker call me last week saying that they could insure my machines with a price tag of over 800.00 dollars. Thats only PLPD . She said there was no trouble to put insurance on. I told her that it was way to much. She told me she had never seen a Hus-ski or Diablo Rouge before and would have to sent some pictures to her compagny. As soon as they saw those machine they said no. It was to dangerous. So I told her a machine that does 120 m p h in a trail is not dangerous.

So i'm still out of luck. Can you give me the phone number of your compagny so i can call them and ask them a price for both of my machine. I don't mind paying 300 or 400 for both machines as long as i can drive in town with them and make people talk.

Take care

Hi all

:x I call the insurance company in Thunder Bay this morning. The lady Donna told me that she can not help me with it. She said that Russel was abel to get insurance on his machine because he has all of his insurance with her. So i'm out of luck again.
Is their a place in Canada that insure those machine? I can not believe that I won't be able to go anywhere except running around the house with the Bolens. Why would the insurance compagny won't acept these machines? Because their in 2 pieces and it's too dangerous. This it what their saying. It's alot of b/s

If anybody can help me with this it would be greatfully appreciated.
