Gerry Cans

Our original 503 Diablo had a spare Gerry Can strapped to the side of the engine cowl... was that a Factory Option, Dealer Option, or something that we may have added on our own. ( I would have been too young to know the source, but I know we had one )

Welcome to the Forum Bart.
For those that do not know, Bart was the originator of the Gaffney Family Website for Hus Skis and Diablos (see link below). It was this website that gave us the inspiration back in 2008 to build another website for our machines. Thank you Bart.

I also have to say I love that avatar you have. Very original.
Regarding the Gerry Can, I've never seen that listed as an option anywhere and I've never seen a Diablo with such a can mounted somewhere on the tractor. My guess is your father was ingenious in his day and realized running out of gas on a 25 mile run was not much fun.
Anyone else ever see such an accessory?
