Ground connecter

Postby RockGuindon on Tue Jul 20, 2010 8:30 pm

Hi all

When i bought the 503 their was no battery in it. So today i bought a new battery ad here is the question. Where would it be better to put the ground cable for the battery? The red one is already connected but the black cable is not. Just wan't to make sure where to put it on the body.

Take care

Rock,

On the 503, the negative battery cable goes directly to the engine block. It's bolted onto the cylinder head with one of the bolts that holds the upper motor mount on to the engine. It's funny you ask that as I just took a 503 apart tonight and unbolted that cable from the engine. 8-)
