Pics of my 'new' Hus-Skis

Post by CTHal » Sat Dec 17, 2011 8:54 pm

Here are some pictures of my new-to-me Hus-Skis....needing lots of love. The 444 is complete (The gas cap flew off on the way home). The 200 is missing the engine. The tracks on both are really rough. I have seen some 'before and after' pictures of rougher ones, so I guess there is hope. I will just need a lot of moral support! H.

These look typical of most of the Hus-skis that I've been able to find. It sure seems like most of them were abused, then cobbled together, then left to rust away. If you enjoy metal fabricating, they will be fun to restore.

Good stuff! If you feel like it's to much just send em my way! Besides our two restored ones that's what our other 5 look like. But they all have rebuilt tracks and the engines are all tuned in. No matter what they are the most fun machines to get out on. Have fun with them. We are now in the process of putting a 252 in a 200a, can't wait!

Those two machines were well worth the drive. The 444's deck looks good. Just remove the add ons and itwill be great. The 200-A is typical condition but certainly a good find. Both with sleds...bonus!
