Assembly of ski seater. At this point I would like to thank Barrie for providing me with the skis and the seat and backrest. I might add that the quality of these parts are second to none so if you are looking for a new seat, I suggest you contact Barrie. I would also like to thank Bruce for providing me with the new ski runners for the skis.

Nice pictures.I have to start posting some of my pics. Good to see other 444s. Mine doesn`t have hole in the front for a head light. Going to have to fix that problem. Could you tell what size is the original hole.
I see there is some type of keeper ring for the tail light.

Made some more progress this weekend. The handle bars are prepped and ready to install to the main frame. So on the handle bars I installed the gas tank, new hand levers, new brake cable, new ignition and light switch, and installed the decal kit. Installing all these components prior to installing the handle bars on the chassis was so much easier than doing it all after installing the handlebars. Peening the new rivets for the hand controls was so much easier doing this with the handlebars upside down. As was installing the gas tank and switches. I also pre- wired the switches before installing them as well. I also coded the electrical connections on both switches with dialectric grease as a precaution for keeping moisture and corrosion out of these switches So at this point, the handlebars are ready to be installed but before I do this, I am going to install the jack shaft, brake assembly, drive train, and chain guard then I will install the handlebars. So I will try and post pictures in order but it might not turn out that way lol!
