I have been an advocate of the riveted tracks for two main reasons....1 - originality and 2- ease of assembly. The drawback to this system is the need for the riveting end for an impact gun.

I AGREE IT IS NICE TO KEEP WITH THE ORIGNAL CONCEPT,I CHEAT AND USE BOLTS AS THE CLEATS WEAR THIN AND BREAK IT MAKES FOR AN EASY AND FAST REPAIR. WHAT A GREAT RESTORATION YOU HAVE DONE REAL NICE JOB!

Both hus skis are now finished! Tracks installed all the little details are done so all I have left to do now is put gas in the tank do an initial start up adjust carburetors and do a test drive (when we get some serious snow). The following pictures are of the finished hus skis. These two pictures show getting ready to install the tracks and showing the track sprocket and skid alignment.

The picture showing the throttle lever is a reproduction that I purchased from Barrie. Quality of this part is outstanding!

So this concludes the restoration of these two hus skis. Thanks for looking, hope you enjoyed... I will add some updated pictures once they are out and running. The next two sets of photos just shows where they started out ....
