Nice pictures.I have to start posting some of my pics. Good to see other 444s. Mine doesn`t have hole in the front for a head light. Going to have to fix that problem. Could you tell what size is the original hole.
I see there is some type of keeper ring for the tail light.

I found both the seals I needed and also ordered the 8 bearings for the axle assemblys and jackshaft. The info on the forum has been very useful. Thankyou.

crankcase seals
I have to install new crankcase seals in my JLO 252. They are both Goetze seals,#30-42-7/8 and#25-42-10. I believe the numbers in the manual are HE-4006 and HE-4007. Would anyone have any current numbers for referencing. Thanks. Randy.

I am starting the restoration on my 444. In the process of locating some parts. Would anyone know were I could find a cast aluminum brake/throttle lever. One of mine is broken at the small mounting hole. Thankyou.

I am starting the restoration on my 1965 huski 444. I have to remove the clutch from the crankshaft. Salsbury#503. JLO L-252. I have the clutch retaining nut off and would like to chase the threads. I believe the threads are M16X1.5, could anyone confirm this or if I am wrong what is the thread size...
