Re: Bolens NOOB, looking for some guidance
Welcome aboard! Make sure you start simple, look for the little things first. These machines are not complicated at all. If you did indeed break something, I'm sure Bruce "King Diablo" will either have the part on a shelf, or know where you can get one. Keep us posted & pictures are always great. BO...

Re: Owner ship
That's sure different than here in Wisconsin. Usually all we have to do is take the serial number into the DNR & they don't even blink a eye when we say we don't have the registration card. I guess they figure something that old probably it doesn't really make much differance. Hope all works out for...

Re: 9/8/09 to grind or not to grind chat
Hey Bruce, I'd say from my experience at work sandblasting is by far the best way to get right down to bare metal. Once you have it all blasted, as I'm sure you know already, you should get you're primer or paint on, as the bare metal will rust quickly. About how much time does it take to sandblast ...

Re: 8/24/09 - Nothing important chat
:D I'll for sure be at the Waconia show, although I'm not sure the Diablo will make the trip this year, as I have many JD sleds that I should consider takeing. If anyone else is heading to Waconia, Renee & I would as always like to visit with you. I'm of course looking forward to the "Gathering", ho...

Re: 8/19/09 Chat - The 503 is ready for the snow!

On another note is anyone planning on attending the Waconia, MN show this year? Renee & I are heading up, as I have many JD sleds in my collecion. The...

Re: 7/5/09 Banner Chat
That is one fine looking shop Bruce. Although I didn't see a heat source anywhere, and as we all know the Diablo's need some work in the winter time I'll have to stop by the next time I'm up that way.

Re: Diablo 503
You're right Bruce, she usually just doesn't bother asking what it is i'm bringing home. i think that's because after 10 years with me she knows it'll be a snowmachine of somekind. I always try the approach that it is her NEW RIDE. That's even getting to be a hard sell these days.
