Re: 200
I installed new plastic plugs Hus-ski part number H-205 on the ends of the cross tubes. Almost every Hus-ski I have owned for some reason this part always seems to be missing so I always install them as I think it gives it a nice finished look. A small detail but I think it makes a big difference. O...

Re: 200
i’m not sure where I got the stop switch, I’ve had it for a few years before starting this restoration. I think I got it from Barrie Graham because I’m pretty sure he sells them and if I didn’t I must have gotten it from my local auto parts, store but check with Barrie.

Re: 200
New OEM style stop and light switch. When making electrical connections I always use dielectric grease on the connections to keep moisture and corrosion out of them. I also installed a new choke cable and pre-lubed it with fluid film so it will work well at -20 temps ( this cable is identical to the...

Re: 200
Today I picked up the primer and paint. Both the paint and the primer I use is a three-part single stage automotive type paint. It requires a spray gun and compressed air to apply the primer and paint so my next step now is to get all the parts into the paint booth and start painting. Wow, automotiv...

Re: 200
After test fitting all the sheet metal parts together and making sure they fit nicely it was time to take it apart and take it to the media blasting and then get it prepped for paint. In order to move this restoration forward I had to out source the media blasting to remove all the old paint and any...
