Re: Carburetor replacement.
They used a Tillotson HL carb on a JLO 252 engine. What carb is on yours and does it have the correct engine?

Re: 1965 Bolens 444 seat upholstery and hood latch
For a hood latch, I used one for a 1930-31 Ford Model A. These were as close as I could find. The 1928-29 Model A latches are a little different as they have 3 bolt holes instead of 2. Here is a link. http://www.snydersantiqueauto.com/hood-handle-990 Otherwise Google them and you can find many. The ...

Re: Crank swap possible?
In the pic above, the surface looks pitted where the dial caliper is, that is going to be some of what your indicator is reading. Would you be able to zero it if your jig was built a little different so the bearings/rollers were running on the smo...

Re: 2015 Fall Hus Ski / Diablo Newsletter
Bruce, how about posting the picture, so I can see if I would have recognized it. The picture wasn't in my email. My internet was working slowly then and I figured that was what the problem was, that email has since been deleted. Thanks

Re: RUN on YOU TUBE
So Barrie, any idea on the recoils? ThanksRoy Teske wrote:I'll let you know when I post more videos. Not sure which recoil they have adapted on a couple of those Hus-skis. Larry Gendron in Chalk River would be able to tell you. Barrie Graham would also know.
