Travel in deep snow is affected greatly by the tracks ability to move snow. New machines today have tracks with paddles up to 3" high. The husski with a "u" channel cleat had a total paddle depth of 1" but it could be counted as 1-1/4" if we count the second edge of the "u" channel cleat.

Records show that it is possible that 1700 444's were sold in 1965 but this doesnt align with brochures of that year which only advertise the 200-A and 600 which was the "new for 1965" model.
