Re: Constance Bay Run 2020

The bright spot of the day, was the restored 1969 Snotruk developed by Fred Fassbender and John Smeaton's company Nortrac Mfg. . It was secretly restored by Gary Whyte's family members to surprise him on Sunday. Wow! All things came together to make a great day. Til next year.

Constance Bay Run 2020

Thanks Mike O'Reilly and all the volunteers at the Constance Bay Legion for another phenomenal "oldsledrun". Your efforts were enjoyed by hundreds of sledders, both vintage and modern. Jessy(500), myself(502) and Carman(503) all made the round trip, despite the warm temperatures and vapor lock issue...

Re: Chalk River run 2020

This was one of the best rides yet. More than thirty machines showed up and most made it back from the morning ride. The numbers were lower for the afternoon ride , but enthusiasm was up. Thanks again Pooper(Kevin), Mary-kay , Larry and family and everyone else for a monster effort with all the prep...

Re: snowmobile "TRITON"

I went to my archives and found an old VHS video with some good deep snow running with hus-skis and even one lone diablo. I had to record it to a DVD, put it on my PC and convert it to a file extension the PC would play and trim the result to show just the deep snow running portion. No small feat wi...

Re: snowmobile "TRITON"

Hi Guys Lots of video on my you tube channel at.... tesker53 The best ones of some deep snow running by Hus-skis are the Chalk River videos. In particular, 2012 to 2014. Bear in mind that a lot of these riders have been riding Hus-skis for decades. The Val Des Bois runs and video clips have some goo...

April Fool's Day Run

Hi Guys No joking. Jeannot and I got out to the camp for a run on spring snow yesterday. A weekend of rain and then 4" of fresh snow made for great conditions. There's still two and a half feet of snow up there. Maybe another couple weeks of sledding to go. I only have one question. What looks bette...
