Hus-ski 60 year Celebration 2021?

It is awfully quiet on the site lately. I am wondering if any one is considering a 60 year Hus-ski gathering for 2021. I know it is a year and a half away, but some of us have to plan a long way ahead to make sure we can attend. I really enjoyed the gathering in Port Washington for the Diablo's, but...

Re: April Fool's Day Run

You guys are having way too much fun! I'd say the Hus-ski flies better. I know that my 600 wouldn't get that high. My deck is much heavier so it can't fly any more. Glad to see you are still able to ride. We are done here. Jim

Re: track building

A similar product is called a Flexco Power Punch. It goes in a 1/2 inch drill. It is a professional tool used for industrial belting repair. Check the Flexco web site. Jim

Re: Hus-ski 600 twin track Sliders bowed in middle?

hello Travis: Will you be taking your Hus-ski to the Whiskey Jack on the 9th. I think you live close by the shack. We are 11 miles away. If I take it there again, I think I'll load it and unload around your place and ride the last mile or ? I hope to get together with you then or before if that work...

Re: Tillotson HL-186A - What's up with that fixed High Speed

back when my Hus-ski was still fairly new, someone who also had one suggested that he would drill the jet out a little bigger. Once he did that it didn't two cycle right. Inorder to get it right he found that by turning the shut off valve on the bottom of the gas tank in to almost shut he could adju...

Happy New Year from Poplar Point Manitoba.
We've had some snow and I've done some sledding, but haven't taken the Hus-ski out yet.

Hello Marquette. The sliders were originally made of wood. I have a spare set that you could look at for a pattern. I live north of Poplar Point. Send me an message and we can arrange to get together and share stories. jim Warburton

check for a stuck needle. It is not getting gas. The spray bottle shows that you have spark.

Re: Jlo 252 primary clutch

For the 600 I know they are hard to find. I don't know if the 444's use the same clutch or not.I got one several years ago for my 6oo from Jeff Cobb. He was from the New York area I believe. I do not know if he is still alive or in business. I suspect that your move able sheave is the problem. I thi...

Re: First ride of the winter

That is an awful way to treat a hus-ski Barrie. Were you by yourself or did you have people running for cover? Jim
